Okay, so this isn’t really relevant to art history notes, but I have to share something one of my professors said today.
We were talking about saints in my Gothic & Romanesque class and my professor started talking about some of the more gruesome deaths. She then said:
“I have a picture of a saint in my bathroom. It’s of St. Apollonia, the saint who had her teeth pulled out. It’s a reminder to brush my teeth.”
I’m going to do this.
